Library Mice Preschool Storytime

Library Mice Preschool Storytime is for children 3 years-old to kindergarten.

This class is available on Wednesday or Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM or Thursday afternoon at 4:45 PM. This is a 45-minute class.

Call the Eaton Library at 937-456-4331 to register or with any questions! The spring session will run from March 2nd- April 6th. 

Our storytimes are formulated around the Every Child Ready to Read initiative, which focuses on the five early literacy practices of talking, singing, reading, writing and playing.

Maker Space Open Hours

Make Space: Open Hours

The Maker Space is a room full of new technology with open access to all ages.* All equipment and assistance is free. Try out digital design, photography, sewing, and more with free access to this equipment. Bring your own consumables, such as fabric and paper. Some materials can be purchased for a fee. 

The Maker Space is open Fridays between 10 am- 4 pm.

Limited assistance is available.

Zoo Family Fun Night!

ROAR! Trek to the Eaton Library and join us us for a ZOO themed family fun night! There will be crafts, games, prizes, snacks, and more! Feel free to come dressed as your favorite animal! 

As with all PCDL programs, this event is FREE!

Mother Goose Baby & Toddler Storytime

Mother Goose Baby/Toddler Storytime is for children ages birth to 3 years, with a choice of Wednesday or Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM. This is a 30-minute class. *Registration is required for this program.*

This teen program features a build your own ramen noodle bar. Add toppings and flavorings to create your perfect ramen!

Teens - Glow Bowling

Water bottle bowling with neon flair!

Enjoy the library's version of Cosmic Bowling with water bottles and glow sticks. Dress in neon colors for the best glow experience!

Teens - Maker Space

Join us for an introduction to the Maker Space!

Learn about sublimation, sewing, vinyl cut, and 3D printing!

This program will prepare teens to use the Maker Space room independently during Open Hours.

Space is limited! Please register in advance.

Play a variety of video games!

Vote for your favorites, then team up and compete with other teens. Snacks will be provided!

Teens- Exit: the Game

Try a game of escape in The Sunken Treasure!

Setting sail for dangerous waters, you embark on a treacherous quest for the legendary treasure of the Santa Maria. While investigating, something goes terribly wrong and you are trapped deep underwater! Can you solve the riddles of the wreck and recover the treasure?

 

This card game works like an escape room in a box. Working with your team, solve the riddles to win!
