Mother Goose Baby & Toddler Storytime

Mother Goose Baby/Toddler Storytime is for children ages birth to 3 years, with a choice of Wednesday or Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM. This is a 30-minute class. Registration is required for this program.

Our storytimes are formulated around the Every Child Ready to Read initiative, which focuses on the five early literacy practices of talking, singing, reading, writing and playing

Eaton Library Fall Book Sale

The Eaton Library book sale is back! We’re doing things a little differently this time. The sale will be held one day only, September 25, from 9 am to 5pm. Get to the library early for the best selection of fiction, nonfiction, young adult, children's books, CDs, and DVDs!

There are no set prices. All sales are through donation only. Grab what you want and give as much as you can. All funds raised support the Eaton Library.

Tie Dye & Pizza Pie

Welcome back to teen programs!

Join us outside the Eaton Library for a celebratory tie-dye and pizza party. Create a unique t-shirt, meet other teens, and help brainstorm future teen programs!


All materials (and snacks!) will be provided, but registration is required in advance.


Tie dye can get messy! Be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained.


LEGO Club!

We will be meeting in-person at the Eaton Branch, AND on Zoom for this month's LEGO Club! Bring your LEGOs and your imagination to show off your Master Builder skills! 

LEGO Club is for school-age children (5-12 years old). The library will have LEGOs for children to build with if they do not bring their own.

This program will run for approximately 45 minutes. 

Registration is require in advance for each meeting.

The Maker Space is a room full of new technology with open access to all ages.* All equipment and assistance is free. Try out digital design, photography, sewing, and more with free access to this equipment. Bring your own consumables, such as fabric and paper. Some materials can be purchased for a fee.

Homeschool Hour: Resource Fest!

Welcome back!

In place of our regular Homeschool Hour program, join us for updated information about services that the Preble County District Library is proud to offer our Home-educated community!

Self-guided activity stations will be set up for the students, but parents, guardians, and educators are welcome to join us for this program. See the educational services PCDL can provide, learn about Homeschool Hour programs, browse our curriculum section, tour the Maker Space, and ask any questions you may have about how we can help serve your homeschooling needs.
