Library Mice Preschool Storytime

Library Mice Preschool Storytime is for children 3 years of age to kindergarten. This is a 45-minute class. 

Our storytimes are formulated around the Every Child Ready to Read initiative, which focuses on the five early literacy practices of talking, singing, reading, writing and playing.

Eaton Library Book Sale

Get to the Eaton Branch Library early for the best selection of fiction, nonfiction, young adult, children's books, CDs, and DVDs during the February Book Sale!

There are no set prices. All sales are through donation only. Grab what you want and give as much as you can. All funds raised support the Eaton Library.

The sale will run from Saturday, February 22 through Saturday, March 7 during open hours at the Eaton Library: Mon-Thu: 9a-8p, Fri-Sat: 9a-5p

Avoiding Utility Scams and Unwanted Charges

Learn how to identify scams, protect yourself from unscrupulous sales practices, and how to effectively say “no” to those who try to sell unnecessary goods and services at this talk by Amy Carles of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel (OCC).

The OCC, a residential utility consumer advocate, represents 4.5 million households in proceedings before state and federal regulators and in the courts. The state agency also educates consumers about electric, natural gas, telephone and water issues.

Create, Explore & More!

Join us for another session of Create, Explore & More at the Eaton Branch Library. Families can delve into our different creative and exploratory stations together.

Stations include clay sculpting, inspecting slides on microscopes, and slime making.

The program runs from 1 pm - 3 pm. Drop-in and have fun as a family. There is something for everyone!

This program, like all PCDL programs, is free to attend. No registration needed.

 

Create, Explore & More!

Join us for another session of Create, Explore & More at the Eaton Branch Library. Families can delve into our different creative and exploratory stations together.

Stations include Valentine making, stop-motion animation, and fun with magnets and more.

The program runs from 1 pm - 3 pm. Drop-in and have fun as a family. There is something for everyone!

Spring Storytime Registration Begins!

Registration begins TODAY for the spring sessions of storytimes at the Eaton Library. 

Our programs are designed around the Every Child Ready to Read Initiative, which incorporates five simple practices of playing, reading, singing, talking, and writing. The programs are intended to help parents and caregivers develop early literacy skills in children from birth to age five.
